Terms & Conditions

A legal disclaimer

1. Booking & Deposit Requirements

  • A signed contract and non‑refundable deposit of 30% of booking is required to secure your event date.

  • Dates are not guaranteed until the deposit is received.

  • Remaining balances are due no later than 3 days before the event unless otherwise stated in writing.

2. Payment Terms

  • We accept: Zelle and Cash App

  • Late payments may incur a late fee of 5%.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing.

  • Deposits are non‑refundable under all circumstances.

  • If cancellation occurs:

    • More than 7 days before the event: Client is responsible for 0% of the total invoice.

    • Less than 7 days before the event: Client is responsible for 10% of the total invoice.

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

4. Menu Selection & Changesd

  • Final menu selections must be submitted no later than 5 days before the event.

  • We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary restrictions, but cannot guarantee allergen‑free environments.

  • Market conditions may require ingredient substitutions; we will notify you of any significant changes.

5. Guest Count

  • Final guest count is due 5 days before the event.

  • This number is considered the guaranteed minimum for billing purposes.

  • Increases may be accepted up to 5 days before the event, subject to availability and additional charges.

6. Staffing & Service

  • Staffing requirements (servers, bartenders, chefs, etc.) will be determined based on event size and service style.

  • Standard rate of pay for staff is $40 per hour per person.

  • Overtime charges apply for events exceeding the contracted time at $50 per staff member per hour.

  • Client is responsible for ensuring safe working conditions for staff.

7. Equipment, Rentals & Damages

  • Any rentals (tables, linens, chafing dishes, décor, etc.) will be itemized in your invoice.

  • Client is responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen equipment at replacement cost.

  • Additional fees may apply for excessive cleaning or venue‑related restrictions.

8. Food Safety & Liability

  • We follow all Illinois and Chicago food safety regulations.

  • Once food has been served or delivered, we are not responsible for how it is handled, stored, or consumed.

  • Leftover food may be released to the Client upon request, but becomes the Client’s responsibility.

9. Alcohol Service (If Applicable)

  • Alcohol service must comply with Illinois Liquor Control Commission regulations.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest who appears intoxicated or underage.

  • Client must obtain any required permits for alcohol service unless otherwise agreed.

10. Venue Requirements

  • Client must ensure the venue provides adequate access, kitchen facilities (if needed), and setup time.

  • Additional fees may apply for difficult access, long distances from loading areas, or restricted setup windows.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, power outages, labor strikes, government restrictions, or emergencies.

12. Liability Limitation

  • Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the catering services.

  • We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

13. Photography & Marketing

  • We may photograph food displays and setups for marketing purposes.

  • If you prefer not to have your event photographed, notify us in writing before the event date.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois and the City of Chicago. Any disputes will be resolved in Cook County, Illinois.

15. Acceptance of Terms

By paying the deposit or signing the event agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
